Change of Heart
by Shari Maurer

Shari Maurer has written an intriguing novel, Change of Heart.
Hopefully this wonderful novel will encourage you to become an organ donor.
You may order her book by going to her website:

Organ donation is serious business.  There are many ways for you to help.  We will try to give you some useful and helpful avenues to travel as you seek your own level of commitment.

  • Talk with your family and a trusted advisor about wanting to help.
  • Pray, meditate, and talk with a religious counselor about your feelings.
  • Click Here to download a PDF version of an organ donor card.
  • Contact an organ/tissue donation organization when you are ready.  Several are listed on our Links Page.
  • Once you are commited, encourage others to join you in giving the gift of life to those needing organ and tissue transplants.

"Don't take your organs to heaven; heaven knows we need them here!"

This site was made possible by a very generous donation.  The anonymous donor said, "I want this site to help Marshall and as many other transplant patients as possible."  We are honored and humbled as recipients of this gift and we will make every effort to insure that many others in the transplant community are helped through this site.  If you have suggestions about how this site can best benefit the whole community, please go to the REQUEST INFO page and send us your comments.
